AloArz is a free tool for comparing exchange rates. This policy explains, in plain terms, what data the website and the Android app collect, when, and how we protect it. Browsing rates needs no account; creating one (for price alerts and a saved watchlist) is optional.
What we collect
Browsing needs no account. You can view rates without signing in, and in that case we ask for nothing personal: our own visit analytics runs without cookies, on our own infrastructure, and no third-party advertising or tracking script runs on the site's pages. You may see our own clearly-labelled ads. Only if you choose to create an account for price alerts or to sync a watchlist do we collect the limited information described in the sections below.
Your account and its data
If you create an account, we keep the following on AloArz’s own servers: your mobile number as the primary sign-in identity, and (if you add them) your email, browser (web-push) notification subscriptions, and a linked Telegram account. The price alerts and watchlist you create are stored too. This data lives on our infrastructure in Iran, is never sold to third parties, and you can delete your account and all of its data at any time.
SMS sign-in codes
To sign in, a one-time code is texted to your number. That SMS is sent through an Iranian SMS provider (Kavenegar), which receives your number solely to deliver that code. We never use SMS for marketing.
How we send notifications
Price alerts are sent only through the channels you choose: browser (web-push) notifications, Telegram, or email. You manage channels in Settings and can disable or delete any alert. We never send alerts by SMS.
Data stored on your device
Your preferences (theme, calendar, numerals, and which instruments you last viewed) are saved locally in your browser or app and never leave your device. Clearing the site or app data removes them. This local storage is not shared with us or anyone else.
How rates are loaded
Rates are fetched from AloArz's servers as you browse. Like any website, our servers and content-delivery network may keep short-lived technical logs (such as your IP address, the time of the request, and the page requested) to run the service, prevent abuse, and diagnose faults. These logs are not used to build a profile of you.
The Android app
The AloArz Android app is a secure wrapper around the aloarz.com website. It shows the same site, so everything in this policy applies to it too. The app requests no special device permissions: no access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or files beyond the browser's own cache.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
